That is astoundingly gorgeous! I love it. It'll be a good while before i get to the Ashlands, but holy heck I can't wait to build with this stuff! I like how some of the early walls incorporated the rougher stone, too.

Fairly new to the game. My buddy and I are on our own server and doing pretty well. We started our meat farm as one of our most recent projects. I love the idea of using the puffer fish. We have only been lucky enough to get one of those to accidently flop on our long boat. What is the best way to catch them? Is it just by fishing off the boat? Any insight would help!

Unbelievable, if i didnt watch you build it.

I do have a question. How do i measure 0,25m in the vertical axis. For horizontal we generally have the door but how do i do it for top-bottom. The closest i got is corewood (or 26 deg cross) but i need a point measured between those 2.

I think that new graustone pillars also have 0,25m snappng points making the door not the only piece. Also the 26 deg cross is a neat elemant to use and it doest require you to carry core wood. it has the center exactly between the 'legs" so it's easy to get the corewood result with normal wood.

i still dont understand how you build those roof tiles on angles beams. looks like you somehow cut the roof tiles diagonally

this.. is amazing. I created the perfect farm where enemies only spawn on a 2x4 meter space, and are guaranteed to stand in my braziers

if you want to add colour to your signs, wrap your front in colour html tags like so: <color=yellow>my text</color> for simple colours, you can use their names, like white, yellow, green, blue, lime etc. however you can also use hex codes if you want. <color=#fff>shows white text</color> also, you dont event Need the ending <> tag, it still works if you simply include the prefix tag. if you Really want to get wild, you can use combinations of additional tags like ‘rotate’, ‘font-size’, ’font-family’…there are probably more but I have only tested these so far. 😊

Another fun way to get your head around building is to take over existing settlements like farms, churches ect… these provide enough shelter for the gang, give you comfort and some provide plants, foods and commonly used materials. ( I built my first base to then found this out😏) Great tutorial👌🏽 excited for the future of this community and game 🔥

As always, a beautiful build. Regarding the smoke venting issue you mentioned, I wonder if using one or the other of the black marble cornice pieces would provide more of an angle to guide the smoke out? Also, how did you have those mushrooms as decoration pieces? Is it a mod to be able to mount them on item stands?

Great build, but I can only follow it up until you get to doing the framework for the roof. No matter what, I can't follow the steps at 4:40, as trying to place the third 45 degree wood beam breaks due to lack of support. I assumed that if it was a build that wouldn't work in survival the video would have said so, or at least someone in the comments would have. A little disappointed that so many val building tutorials aren't possible to follow for those of us wanting to put them in worlds we actually play in.
